THE SAVE-A-SEAT PROGRAM

The circus brings wonder, joy, and connection. But for many people, going to a live performance is out of reach. financial barriers and disadvantage make it hard to access these important experiences.

The Save-a-Seat program sees local legend Canberra businesses, philanthropists and individuals buy tickets to family-friendly shows at the Canberra Circus Festival on behalf of local charities to distribute to their clients, so everyone gets to go to the circus!

Every dollar donated goes towards buying tickets for clients of charities to attend family-friendly circus shows. The more tickets we can buy, the more families get to go.

And humour is no joke! Shared laughter creates social connection, reduces stress, supports good health and wellbeing. A night at the circus at a show full of excitement, laughs, and a friendly crowd can do a lot, for a little, in a short amount of time.

There is no cost or administration involved with being a recipient charity- for every $40 we receive we will make another ticket available to a charity to donate to one of their clients, to be distributed as they see fit.

Save-a-seat campaign

Your pledge can  bring a world of excitement, joy, and possibilities that the circus provides to those that need it most.

Purchasing tickets to the Save-A-Seat campaign can support a young person, a family, or a whole group of people experiencing disadvantage to have a nice night out.

Help Canberra families doing it tough, and provide opportunities for people facing comparative disadvantage to be included in a positive, healthy, and fun activity. Inclusion matters. With this fundraiser, you aren't just helping one Canberra Charity, you're helping a whole heap at once; currently 8 charities in one go!

Donations are via the Warehouse Circus PayPal portal; when making a donation please mention that it's for Save-A-Seat, and list who you are donating on behalf of (individual, business, or philanthropic org) so we can thank you as a donor to the program!
